Ceiling Roses
Plaster Ceiling Roses and Centres were originally installed to protect the ceiling from heat and charring caused by candle or gas lighting. As a result, the owner had only to redecorate the plaster Centre Piece rather than the entire ceiling.
Plaster roses emerged in the Georgian era and ran through the Regency, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. They come in all shapes, sizes and styles, from spiralling acanthus leaf designs to plain member runs. Ceiling Roses were particularly popular during the Victorian period.
Our relief moulded plaster Centre Pieces provide a decorative and traditional background for any light fitting. They completely transform ceilings in both period and modern properties.
We have a great selection of Ceiling roses in a variety of styles and sizes. Please take a look through our range, we are sure you will find something to suit your needs.
